ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project is a multilateral ERASMUS+ project.

  • Participating schools: Poland, Turkey, Italy, Belgium and Germany
  • Young people from different socio-economic backgrounds will get a first-hand experience of Europe growing together.
  • An important base for the project activities are the certificates related to types of school and the professional development of students.
  • All of the directly involved participants are getting an overview over the job opportunities, training places and the possibilities to study at universities in the region but also throughout Europe.
  • Students create a network of external partners and use it for the project work.

AIMS

  • An aim of the project is to show young people from socio-economic backgrounds a perspective for their future.
  • Students will acquire necessary skills to take part in social processes and be active shapers of their life cycles.
  • Students should recognize their personal skills (e.g. learning and social skills) through self –assessments and external assessments.
  • Through our project students be able to have the chance to use the opportunities on the European job market.
  • During the project the teachers use the exchange of ideas to support and to develop a concept for optimal preparation of each student’s life.

THE PROCES

Our students will study different jobs; jobs that have disappeared and jobs that they don’t know well. They will also have a look on the job of a farmer in the past and nowadays.

After that they will focus on dropouts / repeating classes. How many of them do we have and what are their motivations. How do schools react? Later on the will take a look at how do we deal with people with special needs. How many do we have at school, and how do we take care of them. At the end they discuss the possibilities for themselves: what jobs are available, (in the region and surroundings) and what is important in a job.
